This work was inspired by Crazy Jane from the comic book and television show ‘Doom Patrol’. Jane has Dissociative Identity Disorder, with 64 different personalities, and because of this, is labeled as ‘crazy’. In the past few year, this disorder has become fairly popular in media, but most people don’t realize how serious the illness truly is. I would like to help bring awareness to the true, darker sides of this disorder, and to recognize the average 30,000 people who suffer from it in the US alone.
