Control

Our mental health takes shapes us and our everyday lives. Often times, individuals who suffer from a mental illness do not feel in touch with their emotions or actions. With my artwork "Control", I wanted to depict how my own depression and anxiety takes a grasp on my life, and how most times I do not feel like I am in control of my own reality. I hope to spread the message on why although we cannot see mental health disorders, it is still as real and impactful as a physical illness that can be seen with the bare eye.
