Foreign but Familiar

Mental health matters to me because I’ve been through it and felt isolated in a world of my own. I want this piece to convey the idea of a foreign place inside a normal home, since that’s how I perceive mental illness. I used liners and watercolor to make this piece. I went for a semi- realistic style and used watercolor since that’s what I’m most comfortable with.
