Support

My artwork is basically about how there is always someone who will be there for you, listen to you, and assist you but it falls down to whether or not you acknowledge it. It’s like actually listening to their advice instead of just blocking it out until someone says what you want to hear. People can’t help you unless you let them. Mental health is important to me because I was diagnosed with depression about 2 years ago. And for a while I refused to listen to my therapist because I didn’t have the motivation to put in the work to get better. But now I'm willing to get help; I have hobbies and friends. I don't feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders anymore. Of course I'll have my bad days but I'm working to see the light rather than living trapped in the dark.
