The Last of Maya’s Nail Polish

Throughout my father's time at the hospital, he experienced many devastating interactions with his patients. He told me one story of a grandfather who had lost his granddaughter to cancer. The grandfather still had his nails polished, where he got from painting with his granddaughter, even after her death. I wanted to dedicate this painting to those who've lost their loved ones.
