I Lied

My work was inspired by everyday life, “there’s just something about the truth that don’t feel right, at least this way I know I’ll sleep at night”..all people have hid their problems and mental state behind a lie at some point in time. I hope viewers will feel seen, and know this is so common it could be considered the norm, and to know they don’t have to keep lying and taxing their mental health. I chose this subject matter because I myself tend be a primary culprit when it comes to this behavior, and expressing this through art could possibly be my subconscious trying to heal my mind itself.
